PRICING and TAXES
All rates are quoted in United States currency, plus Florida state 7% sales tax. Rates may increase without notice. Rates as advertised on the Victoria Park Regency – SoFlo Star Rentals, LLC. website or any other website or promotional material are subject to change at any time and may increase or decrease at the property’s discretion. You will be charged the rate quoted at the time of booking.

SERVICE FEE
Reservation made through an on-line booking agent (ie. Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com) may be subject to a service fee that is set at their discretion and charged as a separate fee.

DEPOSIT
Payments for reservations may vary on select booking engines. For reservations made directly with the property or website, a 30% authorization is made on the credit card used to guarantee funds for the booking. The full amount of the booking is due upon check-in and may be subject to additional costs such as pet fees, upgrades, cleaning fees, or other incidentals not charged through the booking engine. Rates are subject to state tax (7% Sales Tax) and any applicable credit card processing fee as applicable.

FORMS OF PAYMENT
All direct reservations must be guaranteed with a valid major credit card upon booking. We accept Visa, Master Card, and AMEX. Incidentals charged after check -in can also be paid through the guest portal. Pursuant to credit card agreements, credit cards are not valid unless signed by the cardholder. All guests are required to present a valid major credit card and matching government issued photo identification prior to check-in. Cash and checks and foreign currency are not accepted at check-in. The guest making the reservation must also be the primary credit card holder. If you are making the reservation for another party, terms must be approved in advance with a property manager or reservations. A valid photo ID must be provided for the guest staying on the payee’s behalf prior to check in.

PAYMENT POLICY

For all direct bookings, Victoria Park Regency may require a credit card pre-authorization to cover the value of your stay plus $200.00 of incidentals per day (up to a maximum of $600.00). The authorization will hold the funds until check-out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges. If you wish to settle your account by cash, your identification is required along with full accommodation prepayment, and an incidental deposit of $150.00 per day.

AGE REQUIREMENTS
Guests must be 21 years of age to book a hotel room and must verify proper identification upon booking. Government-issued photo identification and a credit card, or debit card may be required at check-in for incidental charges. The guest making the reservation must also be the primary credit card holder.

CHECK-IN
Check-in is at 3:00pm (local time) and is conducted via keyless entry. You will receive a notification through your reservation app from the host the morning of your arrival with specific check-in instructions. All requests for early check-ins should be given in advance. We love providing flexibility to our guests and will arrange for early check-ins based on availability.

CHECK-OUT
Guests may check out anytime before and up to 11:00am (local time). To check out, input a “1” in front of your door code so we are notified of your departure.

Housekeeping is scheduled to clean after your check-out. Requests for a late check-out should be made with advanced notice and will be honored at the property's discretion and If availability allows. If there is no communication of a desired late check out and it compromises housekeeping schedules or incoming guests, you may be subject to late check-out fee.

EARLY DEPARTURE
Guests who check-out prior to the scheduled departure date will not receive a refund or credit towards any future stay. If you need to shorten your stay for whatever reason, we encourage you to communicate with your host.

CANCELLATIONS
You may cancel free of charge until 14 days before arrival. If you cancel within the 14 days before arrival, the cancellation fee will be the total price of the reservation. If you do not show up, the no-show fee will be the same as the cancellation fee (100% for all nights reserved). If you change or cancel your reservation, you will not get a refund or credit to use for a future stay. This policy will apply regardless of COVID-19, subject to any local consumer laws, or natural disasters. Guests traveling during hurricane season (June 1- November 30th), are strongly encouraged to purchase travelers’ insurance in case of last minute cancellations.

SMOKING
All Victoria Park Regency apartments are smoke free. An additional $250 cleaning fee will be incurred for non-compliance. Guests must adhere to any relative Florida law as it relates to smoking of any kind to include cigarettes, marijuana, e-cigarettes, vaping and/or any other illegal drugs.

TRAVELLING WITH MINORS
Children are welcome and there is no charge for infants (under 2 years old). Please include any special requests in your reservation or with your host/property manager.

PETS
Victoria Park Regency welcomes well-mannered, disease-free dogs weighing under 35 pounds (2 pet maximum per unit in Deluxe Courtyard Suites and 1 pet maximum per unit in Courtyard King rooms) and subject to a nonrefundable $15/per pet/night which is collected in full upon check in. Discounts for pee fees based on longer term stays (28 days of more) may be authorized and agreed upon prior to check-in between the guest and SoFlo Star Rentals, LLC.. Notification that you are travelling with a pet must be made during the time of booking. Reservations made through a booking channel will need to provide a separate form of payment for pet fees prior to arrival. If booking direct, the card provided will be used for pet fees (unless otherwise requested). Guests with pets are required to sign a “pet waiver”. Apartment assignments and/or door codes will be disclosed the day of arrival only if the pet waiver is completed.

Please pick up and discard all waste from the property grounds and neighborhood. Pets should be leashed at all times when outside and crated when left alone. Pet sitters or walkers can be arranged by calling your host. If your pet is disruptive during your stay, you will be asked to leave without a refund and may be subject to a disruption fee of $100. If your pet causes any damages in the apartment or property, you will be responsible for covering the costs for repair or replacement. In your apartment. Should there be evidence of un-registered pet during or after the guest has checked out, we reserve the right to authorize a charge to a credit or debit card on file, including and without limitation for all property damage, cleaning fee, etc. A recent health of your pet certificate obtained from a veterinarian must be presented at check-in. Service animals are always welcome and exempt from any pet fees. Any non-compliance of unauthorized animals will result in a $250 nonrefundable fee.

SPECIAL REQUESTS
Guests being safe and comfortable is something Victoria Park Regency strives for. We will make every effort to honor special requests such as a specific unit location, adjacent units, portable infant cribs / highchairs, prior to your arrival. All special requests are noted in reservations, and we will do our best to accommodate.

PARKING
Parking for registered guest(s) is free for the duration of your stay (one parking space per unit). Please provide the make, model, and color of your vehicle in advance (or upon arrival if renting). Advanced requests for additional parking spaces will be accommodated subject to availability. All vehicles are parked at the risk of the owner. Victoria Park Regency – SoFlo Star Rentals, LLC. Does not assume liability or responsibility for any vehicle, occupants, or contents while operated or parked on property. If a vehicle is left in the parking lot after the guest has departed without the written consent with the property, we reserve the right to have the vehicle towed at the owner’s expense. No vehicle repairs are allowed on premises.

DISPUTE/RESOLUTIONS DAMAGE DISCOVERED AFTER CHECK-OUT
Guest rooms found with garbage/waste thrown around, in disorder (furniture moved, removed, or damaged), or have an undisclosed pet(s) will be subject to a $200 minimum maintenance, deep cleaning fee, administration fee and/or third party fees.

LONG TERM GUESTS
Guests that maybe be staying up to 6 months will be honored a discounted monthly rate for room rate and/or any pets. Apartments are set up the same way for long term guests as they are for guests staying in shorter intervals. A supply of toiletries, towels, linens, etc. will be provided for long-term guests. Should a longer-term guest wish to use their own small appliances, bedding, etc., they may do so as long as all apartments’ contents are replaced or moved back to its original place upon check in. We try to accommodate longer term guests with more storage space and amenities and can provide cleaning services at a $100 fee per clean (that includes linen and towel change, and apartment clean. Please make sure to schedule a cleaning a few days prior with the property manager.

DAMAGES
Damage to rooms, fixtures, furnishing, and equipment including the removal of electronic equipment, linens, décor, utensils, etc. will be charge at 120% of full and new replacement value plus any shipping and handling charges. Any damage to the property, whether accidental or willful, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each room. Any costs associated with repairs and/or replacement will be charged to the credit card of the registered guest. In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued.

DAMAGE TO MATTRESSES AND BEDDING
Damage to mattresses and linens including; towels, mattress pads, sheets, bedspreads, duvets, and blankets resulting from the use of body oils, make-up, sun tanning lotion & oils, sunscreen, shoe-polish, etc. will result in a charge for the special cleaning, repair or replacement of the damaged article.

TAMPERING WITH FIRE DETECTION SYSTEMS/ Wi-Fi / NOISE LEVEL / SECURITY EQUIPMENT
Victoria Park Regency – SoFlo Star Rentals, LLC. reserves the right to act against any guest or visitor found to have tampered or interfered with any detection equipment throughout the property, including smoke detectors, keyless door entry, door locks, fire extinguishers, wifi, external cameras, etc. Guests or visitors found to have tampered with any of the above or fire detection equipment will be charged with any costs incurred by their actions and will be evicted from the property. Depending on the severity of the guest actions, law enforcement may become involved at the property’s discretion. Should tampering of any equipment or damages be revealed after the guest has checked out, we reserve the right to authorize a charge to a credit or debit card on file, including and without limitation for all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee, etc. Upon entering your apartment at check-in, please notify your host immediately if you notice any damages to prevent being charged for something you did not cause.

UNCLAIMED ITEMS
Lost & found items are held for fourteen (14) days after check-out. We will attempt to contact the guest, however, If the guest contact information is incorrect, email bounces back, mobile on file is disconnected, voicemailbox is full, the unclaimed item(s) will be thrown away, given to help local organizations, or disposed at the discretion of Victoria Park Regency – SoFloStar Rentals, LLC.

RETURNED ITEMS
We would be happy to return your lost item(s) to you by United States Postal Service, UPS or Ex. Your credit card will be charged for additional packaging and postage, plus a $10.00 handling fee. A separate receipt will be mailed to you. Victoria Park, SoFlo Star Rentals, LLC. is not responsible for any item lost or misdirected during shipment.

HOUSEKEEPING
SoFlo Star Rentals, LLC. works with professionally licensed cleaning services that adhere to state and federal safety CDC guidelines. Daily housekeeping services are not included but can be requested prior or throughout your stay for an additional fee of $100 per clean. For stays of 28 days or more, towels & toiletries will be refreshed upon request by contacting your host. On-site laundry is available on premise and is free of cost. A supply of cleaning detergent is provided upon check in. Guests are invited to stock up on necessary supplies for the remainder of their stay.

MAINTENANCE
If you check into your room and find something damaged or in need of immediate repair, please notify your host. If, during your stay, you notice something that needs immediate repair, please message your host with an explanation of the issue (even a picture) so a work order can be opened. A maintenance technician will tend to the issue as soon as possible. Once any work order is submitted, a maintenance team member is authorized to enter your unit to address the issue with or without you present.

US POSTAL MAIL
Under no circumstances will guests be allowed to use Victoria Park Regency’s address to receive mail set up through the USPS. Even if guests are able to set this up online, there are no mailboxes on property for personal mail.

PACKAGE DELIVERY
Packages such as Amazon, Chewy, UberEats, and all other grocery or food delivery is allowed at the guest’s risk. Make sure to provide the delivery service your apartment number and specific instructions for delivery. The guests assume the risk of missing deliveries and will not be compensated by Victoria Park Regency should a package be missing. Staff on property will alert a guest should they see a package in front of a guest door and do our best to leave it inside the apartment (with consent of the guest).

PLUMBING
Discarding feminine products, baby wipes, “flushable wipes” in the toilet will result in plumbing line clogs. It is important to remember to discard toilet paper ONLY in the toilet. If maintenance is called and anything other than toilet paper is revealed, a maintenance service fee starting at $250 will be charged. You will asked to leave if repeat incidents occur without refund for the remainder of your stay.

KITCHEN/GARBAGE
Please try to wash all dishes, pots and pans, and utensils, before you check-out. Any remaining contents from the refrigerator will be discarded after you check-out. Victoria Park Regency is scheduled for garbage collection on specific days outlined in your guestbook instructions. A large bulk trash bin is located at the front of the building on the right-hand side. Please refer to the house rules or message your host if you have questions.

BBQ GRILL
The BBQ grills on the property are for all guests to use. All apartments are equipped with BBQ utensils and platters to transport food. Outdoor seating is designed for guests to fellowship or work so please be mindful of the noise levels when gathering. Please remember to clean the grill after each use and bring any dishes used outside back to your respective apartment(s). SoFlo Star Rentals is not responsible for any injuries that result in any guest negligence use while operating the grill. Grills are maintained by SoFlo Star rentals. Please report any signs of grill malfunction immediately until management addresses any issues.

EXTERIOR CAMERA DEVICES
In adherence to the Broward County noise ordinances, exterior cameras have been placed in common areas around the property to monitor disturbances and complaints. To protect your privacy, exterior camera devices are not used to detect conversations, but help security monitor complaints of excessive noise reported by neighbors or other guests. Exterior cameras are located only in common areas to include parking lot (2), rear courtyard (2), staff laundry room area (1), and common courtyard area (1). Guests should be mindful to avoid loud conversations, fighting, and unauthorized visitors on property. In situations when the noise levels are not controlled, staff reserves the right to investigate the course and will involve local authorities if necessary.

INTERNET Wi-Fi ACCESS
Access to our Wi-Fi is free for our registered guests. Wi-Fi is accessed by logging into “Victoria Park Regency Guest” and following the log in instructions. Although equipped with high-speed internet/mesh equipment and services, Wi-Fi signals are subject to change without notice depending on the apartment's location, the status of our Wi-Fi-equipment, and interference from other local wireless signals, and local outages. Victoria Park Regency – SoFloStar Rentals, LLC. assumes no liability for guest use and no refund will be given if the guest Wi-Fi does not work to your satisfaction. Streaming capabilities are offered, and guests are to use their own personal viewing subscriptions (Netflix, etc. accounts are not provided).

CHANGES OR MODIFICATION TO POLICY/HOUSE RULES
Victoria Park Regency - SoFlo Star Rentals, LLC. reserves the right to amend, modify, change, cancel, modify, or add policies/house rules or the arrangements and content featured on our website at any time without prior notice. Please check our website at www.soflostarrentals.com regularly for updates. Any modification to these policy/house rules that occurs before your departure is considered a part of your reservation agreement. A copy of these policies and house rules is located on our website and guest portal app.

UNREGISTERED GUESTS
Because we value guest confidentiality, safety, and security, unregistered guests are strictly prohibited at any time. All guests staying at Victoria Park Regency must be registered for each reservation (maximum: 3 guests in Courtyard King rooms and 5 guests in Deluxe Courtyard King rooms). Any attempt to add an unregistered guests will result in immediate cancellation of reservation without refund and an extra guest fee of $30/person/day.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Victoria Park is a quiet residential neighborhood located 1.5 miles to downtown Fort Lauderdale. You are steps away from trendy Las Olas Blvd, and beautiful Fort Lauderdale Beach. Victoria Park is one of the most dog friendliest towns in Fort Lauderdale, providing plenty of side-walk space and parks within walking distance. See you guest book for dog friendly beaches, top mobile groomers, and doggie day care facilities that will make their vacation memorable!

GETTING AROUND
Las Olas Blvd is 1.5 miles from Victoria Park Regency and is famous for window shopping, cafes and creameries, and a variety of restaurants for all palettes. Fort Lauderdale Beach is 2.2 miles and can be accessed easily. Take a bike ride, water taxis, or jump on a free echo friendly shuttle that transports beachgoers between Las Olas Parking garage and the Las Olas Oceanside park. The Fort Lauderdale Int'l Airport (FLL) is 5.5miles from the property.

EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS
Hurricane season in Florida: June 1st-November 30th. Please be informed of weather conditions before and during your stay. Evacuations may be mandated in the event of a hurricane warning. Please note that 3rd party booking engines do not provide refunds (neither do we) for hurricane/tropical storm trip interruptions, as this is an annually anticipated event. Please purchase travel insurance during this time and refer to hurricane preparedness resources for more information: https://www.weather.gov/safety/hurricane. Victoria Park Regency is in evacuation zone B. Various levels of evacuation ranging from voluntary to mandatory will occur based on the zone. As information becomes available local officials analyze data to determine the order of evacuation. Familiarize yourself with this zone and the prescribed route to the nearest designated shelter. for shelter information, including for pets, please contact the American red cross or download their app by texting” "GETEMERGENCY"to 90999.

COMMUNICATION
The fastest way to reach your host is to communicate through our messaging application. Detailing issues in your message will help your host address you inquiries quickly and efficiently. Your host is local and can be reached via a contact provided upon your check-in. Discussions prior to your check-in date are subject to individual booking engine guidelines.

SECURITY
Victoria Park Regency is a fenced in property that ensures safety and privacy to our guests. Although group bookings are common with business travelers and families, arranged on-site parties or large group events with unregistered guests are prohibited. If there is crowding and noise levels rise, security will notify your to make sure all guests are safe. All apartments are equipped with smoke detectors, evacuation plans, exit signs and regulation fire extinguishers visible in the courtyard (between apartments 2 and 3 and apartments 8 and 9). Outdoor security cameras are visibly placed around the parameters of the property, courtyard, and parking lot. The property is well illuminated for clear visibility when walking on property grounds at all times.

CONSTRUCTION
Should there be construction on property because of routine apartment repairs, roofs damaged from flooding or hurricane, Victoria Park Regency reserves the right to conduct such repairs when permits and construction is scheduled. A 1-week notification will be provided unless the repair is an emergency and needs to be tended to for the safety of our guests and workers. We will make sure that repairs will be done quickly and with precaution to guests in-house. No refunds will be made to emergency repairs to guests that are unsatisfied with working conditions. Please see emergency preparedness for the months where emergency repairs are most common because of power outages, fallen trees, roof leaks, flooding, etc. Please know that instead of guests having to endure such conditions due to natural disaster damage, we have a staff that will tend to it immediately.
